For over a decade, RSB has partnered with governments, multilateral organizations, academia, corporates (CSR) and INGOs to evaluate programs across the sector of health, education, water and sanitation, agriculture, livelihoods, and rural development. Key members driving this initiative

Dr. Ashish Panigrahi – Global Head, Social Research

Dr. Ashish Panigrahi brings over 30 years’ experience in public policy, social research, and development strategy. His extensive consulting experience includes working with agencies such as UNICEF, DFID, The World Bank, WHO, SIDA, various government ministries and Institutes including the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Niti Aayog, CAG, NACO, IIPS and renowned academic bodies like the NCAER, NIEPA, Johns Hopkins University, University of North Carolina etc. A strategic thinker and practitioner, Dr. Panigrahi continues to collaborate, contribute and work at the intersection of research, governance, and sustainable development.

Ranjana Saradhi – Director, Social Research

With more than 30 years of experience, Ranjana is a recognized expert in health, nutrition, and women and child development. She has managed large-scale research and consultancy projects across India and South Asia, advising organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, DFID, USAID, and the World Bank, and has worked closely with ministries including Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD). Her extensive experience continues to inform evidence-based policies and strategies across critical development sectors.

Suchandra Nandy – Director, Social Research

Suchandra brings over 25 years of experience in social research and development consulting across India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. She has led impact evaluation studies in education livelihoods, rural development, water, and sanitation for organizations like the World Bank, UNICEF, PLAN International, and ICRW. Her work continues to inform decision-making and sustainable development through high-quality evidence based insights.

S.S. Prasad – Director, Social Research

Prasad has over two decades of experience of managing projects across the sectors of skill development, agriculture, livelihoods, and women’s empowerment. He has led development studies for organizations like PwC, FSG Advisory, KPMG, Grant Thornton, BCG, IRMA, and ITC Foods. His work reflects a deep understanding of community needs and citizen perspectives, enabling him to contribute to practical, scalable strategies that improve program effectiveness and outreach.
